Motorworks has a long history with Hawke's Bay with Wayne Talbot purchasing the company from the previous owners in 2012. Wayne has a long history in both the construction equipment and truck industry. He spent over 20 years working for Komatsu prior to owning a mechanical shop in Rotorua.
We have 12 technicians working from two workshops based in Onekawa as well as fully mobile field service technicians. Our technicians are available to work on a full range of products from large construction equipment and trucks to forklifts and utes. Also on site is a qualified fitter and turner plus an auto electrician. We also have a parts manager who runs the parts department containing a large range of common parts for the brands we service.
We have a large range of parts in stock in our on site parts department (such as filters and common seals), but can have any parts required on your doorstep the following morning if they are available in New Zealand.
Our sister company Onekawa Forklift Hire has competitive rates tailored to your every need. Machines are available for hire from 1.5 to 4.5 tonnes. Let's start scrolling

Motorworks Hawke's Bay Rentals
Onekawa Forklift Hire was founded in 2003 as a sister company to Motorworks Hawkes Bay, due to increased demand for rental/lease forklifts. From a beginning of just four machines, the fleet has grown to nearly thirty.
Onekawa Forklift Hire caters for the small to medium size (1.8 to 4.5 tonne). We will rent a machine or arrange a long term lease depending on your requirements. For long term lease we can buy and configure a machine to your specific requirements at favourable rates.
We also have access to a large range of new and second hand machines for sale through our dealer network.
